Cancellation Policy

At K9 Design Pet Grooming, our talented groomers time is valuable. We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel/reschedule unexpectedly. If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. When we accept your booked appointment, we block out the date and time in order to accommodate your pet. In order to respect the time of our groomers, a $25 no show/last minute cancellation fee will be assessed to your card on file if you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment. If you are running late for your pets scheduled appointment there will be a $5/15 minute fee assessed to your groom.

To avoid being assessed a no-show/last minute cancellation fee, one business day is required so we can attempt to schedule another pet in your appointment time. Our business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed Saturday, Sunday, and all major holidays. Monday appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled by Friday. Appointments that follow holidays must be cancelled on our last day open prior to the holiday.

Each of our groomers is on 100% commission, and they all rely on a full schedule in order to pay their own bills. Each no-show/cancellation reduces their overall income. In order to be fair to our groomers, we feel it is only fair to assess a small fee in order to cover a portion of the income they have lost due to the unfortunate event of a last minute cancellation.
